Using the Real Capital Markets Integration

Publishing Listings

Before a Listing is synced with Real Capital Markets, it must first be marked for publishing.

  1. Go to a Listing record

  2. Click the Publish button. If there is no Publish button, contact your Administrator. Administrators can follow the instructions on Real Capital Markets Integration Setup

  3. This page will only display the enabled Listing Services. Check the box next to Real Capital Markets to mark this Listing for publishing  

  4. After marking the Listing for publishing, more details about the integration will appear

    • Key: The name of the API Key used to publish the Listing to RCM.

    • Sync Daily: Determines whether or not this Listing should be included in the Daily Sync batch job. Note: If Sync Daily is not activated in the Listing Service settings, then none of the Listings will be sync daily regardless of this checkbox.

    • Publish Status: Indicates whether or not this Listing successfully synced with Real Capital Markets during the last sync attempt.

    • Last Sync Date: The date of the last sync attempt.

  1. Choose a key and if desired, check the box to sync daily. 
  2. ​Click Save and Publish to create an RCM project. If you chose to Sync Daily this will also add the listing to the daily sync process until you return to this page and uncheck Sync Daily for this listing.
  3. After marking a Listing for publishing, anytime you return the Publish page you will be given the option to Sync with Real Capital Markets so you don’t have to wait for the daily sync batch job if you change any of the Listing fields in Apto.

Syncing Listings

From the Publish Page

At any time you can return to the listing, click on the Publish button and use the Sync with Real Capital Markets Now button pictured above to update the RCM project fields or download buyer and activity information.

Sync All Listings (Administrators)

Once your users have published a few listings, System Administrators will also be able to manually start the sync by clicking Sync Listings Now on the RCM settings page. The sync may take some time, so you can either stay on this page and watch the progress or leave the page and the sync will continue in the background. You will be emailed when the sync is complete.

Troubleshooting

In addition to receiving emails about the status of the sync batch jobs, a Sync History is found at the bottom of the Real Capital Markets Settings page. The last 5 syncs are displayed, but you can click Show All to see more logs and the entire Error Message if there are more errors that can be displayed in the list. If you cannot see the Error Message fields, click Edit Layout on the record detail page to add the fields to the layout:
