Creating an Invoice Template

Previous: Creating a Logo Document for Invoice Templates

A new template can be created by accessing the Invoice Template tab.

  1. Go back to home page and click on the plus sign at the end of the tabs  

  1. Select Invoice Templates from the list of objects

  1. There is a standard invoice template that Apto creates when you install the package. The standard invoice template uses the company logo and address from the company information you set up while using Apto for the first time. You can either modify the standard company template or create a new one for your office

  1. Click on the New button

  1. Enter the following information

    1. Template name - The name used to identify the template

    2. Company Name - The company name that appears on the invoices

    3. Company Address - The address displayed in the invoices

    4. Logo Image Id - The id of the office logo that you uploaded in the previous section step 9.

  1. Select the default check box to make to use this template for all the invoices generated from your Apto org.

  2. Click save and you are done setting up a new invoice template.
