Call Lists: 

best practices

 

Call lists prioritize day-to-day activities.  Call lists use two key features to record call/email outcomes: 

Activity Notes allow you to record information about conversations you’ve had with a Contact. Each individual Contact has an Activity History related list that shows Activity from previous conversations you’ve had with the Contact.

Follow-up Tasks allow you to schedule an action item to complete on a Contact record. Tasks can range from a scheduled phone call to a scheduled tour of a property. You’ll receive a notification to engage with the Contact on the date you specified on the Task.

 

1. Select START CALLING on the Call List you’d like to work through.  Tasks appear in the order of the due date, starting with the due date closest to today.  Based on the task, complete the appropriate follow up (e.g. call, email)

2. Record the appropriate response:

3. Add any additional memos in the ACTIVITY NOTE field.

4. Click SAVE + NEXT → to move to the next task in the list.

*(Optional) Create a Follow-up Task

Follow-up Tasks allow you to schedule an action item to complete on a Contact record. Tasks can range from a scheduled phone call to a scheduled tour of a property. You’ll receive a notification to engage with the Contact on the date you specified on the Task. 

To create a Follow-up Task, do the following when recording a response:

  1. Tick the box next to Add Follow-up
  2. Select SAVE + NEXT →



 

*(Optional) Review Tasks

Enabling Review Tasks allows you to review all open Tasks for the Contact record you’re working on. You can resolve Tasks in this menu by selecting the circle icon located to the left of a Task.

To enable the Review Tasks feature, do the following:

  1. Tick the box next to Review Tasks
  2. Select SAVE + NEXT →
